No need to bother reading all your posts when I can address the posts you have sent to me. You saw my post and in a knee-jerk reaction you incorrectly concluded that I had not read the article, which is ironic, considering your message.
What you are doing is assuming that anyone that doesn’t agree with you just hasn’t read the article, which in this case is wrong. Now, we may not agree on boehner’s approach, that is fine, but you seem to have got it in your mind that it is okay for you to declare that FReepers who have a contrary point of view are sheep. Not me. I’ve read it. I’ve commented on it. Again, in case you didn’t read the article, boehner declared that he intends to work with both sides. I don’t think that is a very good plan.
This is very simple to understand, if you don’t like your actions being referred to as sheepish, don’t copy someone else’s posts and go about pasting it as a response to any posts you happen to disagree with.

Back to the article, considering your initial response about having the logic reversed, your cut and paste follow-up fell way short of what I was expecting. As I conceded earlier, of course, I hope I am wrong and boehner's notion of holding hands and singing cumbaya with the same people that want to enforce liberal policies will all work out for the best. That doesn't sound like a good plan.

Now it is evident that in a knee-jerk response to reading my post, you copied and pasted a post that you now think only some of which applies. None of it applies. I addressed your attack of other FReepers. As for the rest of what you copied and pasted, you are ignoring the concept that others can have differing points of view. Even the article expects there to be those who disagree with boehner- “In response to those who warn of chaos”. This is what I initially commented on.
Read the article. Don’t read the article. Who cares? Just wait and see. Words are cheap. Sometimes words mean something. Soemtimes they don’t. But actions speak louder than words.
Maybe Boehner is crazy like a fox. Can you imagine the media for the next two years if instead he had said he was going to grab for much more power than Pelosi had and tried to scr3w the Dems more than she scr3wed the Pubbies? Hopefully in this respect he’ll be like a Democrat and say one thing and do another.
Anyway there is much to do. More than one person can manage. So he needs to delegate. My problem is with some of those to whom he will be delegating, such as Fred Upton.
But let’s not forget that Reagan delegated a lot and that worked out reasonably well.

An executive, like the President, must delegate. A Speaker of the House must get his hands a little dirty in order to corral the wayward and be a united front. I wish Boehner the best of luck, and I’m hopeful, but I still think we need to keep a close eye on him.

Honestly, doesn’t Boehner’s crying bother you? Maybe this was how I was raised, but boohooing when you get handed the gavel of power seems really Dimocrat-like, metrosexual behavior to me. And given his wishy washy past, and his conciliatory tone today, it just doesn’t sit well with me. I hope I’m wrong.

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t watch Boehner. Sometimes the weeper can be a bit soft, but I am okay so far here. The rule changes were good.
