And the military is quite capable of curtailing indecent behavior.

Not if the homosexuals get their way. It will be a "hate crime" to speak out against homosexuality. So your commanding officer has a crush on you. You gonna complain? You REALLY think that WORKS?

Rates of Homosexual Assault in the Military Are Disproportionately High

Bingo!

“AS LONG AS THIS ADMINISTRATION IS IN POWER . . .”

As long as Obama and his nasty bunch is in power, we’re going to be forced to talk about this trash. We must unite and focus our efforts on bolstering the opposition and putting forward strong, resolute, and electable candidates in 2012.

So here we are, on a thread full of Palin-bashers, just looking for an excuse to eat our own.

We’re going to end up with Moneybags Romney or some other unelectable like McCain if we don’t stop tearing each other apart.

While I don't disagree with the above, it does not address my post. I am not in favour of ignoring problems, in fact, I believe that we can do all that must be done. One of the things that must be done is to guard against those who would infiltrate this site and the GOP, then manipulate and attempt to destroy conservatives.

Trisham, nobody posting on this site, regardless of whether they agree with you on everything or not, can “destroy conservatism.” But we can destroy each other and any chance of taking back the White House if we spend our time with infighting rather than putting up a united front against the progressive socialists now in power.

As Proverbs says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

Don’t be afraid of healthy debate. Don’t be afraid to think about differing or challenging viewpoints. We must all continue to question and to argue politely so that, when faced with true opposition, we are “sharp” and ready to defend our positions and our freedoms and our way of life.

I doubt there are many on FR who would defend in any way the homosexual lifestyle. I would be disappointed if there were, because, as stated on the forum home page, this is a place for “for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty constitutional conservative activists.”

We agree on substance. The debate is about how to pick our battles and win the war.

I’m not nearly as concerned about infiltrators to FR — JimRob knows who the newbies and trolls are — but rather infiltrators in our government who want to overthrow our way of life.

One of them, I am convinced, sits in the White House. Please, let’s not parse the words of good conservative candidates who may be able to remove him next year, as is the genesis of this thread.

There are plenty of things that people do in private that are your business.

Burglaries, for example, are done in private.

Securities fraud, ponzi schemes, etc., are all someone’s private initiatives. If Citizen X isn’t any more watchful than that, it isn’t my job to keep him from making dumb decisions.

Surely she’s on the record already, no?

I can assure you that I agree and I assure you we're all on the same page on that, particularly at this time.

Go, Sarah, go!!

Sarah easily could lose conservatives by appearing on issues like gay as not conservative. If she stakes out enough positions that are not conservative, people with think “Sarah Palin isn’t actually Conservative, even though I really want her to be a Conservative.”

Palins retweet was disappointing to me.

And this thread which was supposed to be about Palin’s retweet is about DADT and not about Palin.

If Palin herself were here on FR (anonymously), and she posted what Tammy Bruce posted, basically, that people who don’t like gays are actually gay, Palin herself would be in some sort of trouble.

It seems to be odd what’s happening here.

Palin likes gays.
We don’t like gays.
But we like Palin.

This is a clear opening for pissant. I like Palin. But if she keeps on retweeting gay talking points, I’ll like her a lot less.

And another thing about this particular thread, people don’t seem to believe at all that what Palin did was agree with a philosophy that is worse than DADT.

Palin agrees that people who don’t like gays are gay?
A person who agrees with that statement will not be on the conservative side on the gay issue.

Anybody anti gay here? Newsflash - Palin just called you gay. That should be worrisome. She will lose votes because of this, and lose money because of this.

You’re comparing the practice of same sex sodomy to drinking some alcohol????

And General Washington, when informed of a soldier who attempted to commit sodomy on another solider, had him punished - drummed out of the army the next morning! Sodomy was NOT tolerated in the military - for centuries! It was a punishable offense!

So you support “don’t ask” - meaning anyone is allowed in - but not the “don’t tell” - in other words they can flaunt it and no one can stop them.

The Military Code of Justice is unique. Sodomy is illegal.

Your support of homosexuals in the military is opposed to conservative and rational principles.

but would not consider banning homosexuals from the military to be a make-or-break issue in a presidential primary.

I am sure that the majority of Americans would, if informed, agree with the majority of those in the military think - NO to the repeal of DADT.

Additionally, the only reason so many Americans are lukewarm about the homsoexual agenda is because of years of indoctrination in schools, media and so on. The American public has been lied to. No MSM, no government agency or whatever, even medical community - they lie about the real nature of homosexuality. It was taken off via political pressure from the list of mental illnesses. But it's still a mental illness.

Those in the military overwhelmgingly do not want open homosxuals in their ranks. They're the ones whose opinions count.

Did Palins retweet make you like Palin more, less, or about the same?

Chaplains will be forbidden from mentioning that homosexuality is condemned in the Bible.

To tell you the truth, the whole tweeting subculture is foreign to me, what to speak of re-tweets. But it appears on the surface, as though Palin likes Tammy Bruce’s comments, which were stupid and pro-fag agenda, and from her one quoted statement about the repeal of DADT (”not the right time”) - it does look as though she’s okay with fags in the military.

If the above is true, then I would never, ever vote for her. If the above is not true, then I would hope that she clarifies her position so there is no doubt about her view, and that she does it soon.

If Palin is okay with any part of the homosexual agenda that will be very, very disappointing. So I’m holding off judgement until I know for sure her position. The longer she doesn’t say anything, the more dubious I am about her. I hope she says something very soon to clarify this.

How about you?

You can read the Military Code of Justice to find out what they mean.

Have at it.

Less.

But not terribly less. It’s not a dealbreaker for me.
But that retweet I do see as a dealbreaker for some. And it sounds like it’s a dealbreaker for you.

Most here like Palin. Some love her without question. When bad news like this comes out, they pretty much ignore it, or attack the messenger, or try to believe that it actually means something else. Others really want to love her, and love a lot about her, but already have opinions on issues that they’ve held for years longer than they’ve heard of Sarah Palin. She’s going to lose votes with those people if
she takes many positions in opposition to their long held beliefs.

I do think that Palin does have a large and solid block of people who will support her even if she keeps agreeing with statements like “people who don’t like gays are gay”.

I just don’t know exactly what percentage of her current supporters will support her no matter what she says or does.
It’s a much bigger number than any of the other top tier candidates. Ron Paul has a large number as well. I’m not saying Ron Paul’s numbers are large overall, but his supporters are solid.

I strongly disagree with the Tammy Bruce tweet that Palin agreed with. I like Palin less because of it. It doesn’t make her less conservative than Romney, Gingrich, Huckabee.
