I would have to disagree with the theory that zero is working out too much to cause the weight loss. I used to be a personal trainer and looking at the current pics of Obama he is losing weight and not gaining muscle. By lifting weights and to a certain extent running you build muscle which puts on mass in a good way (think bigger arms and chest muscles in men). I think the pressure of the job, his unhealthy habits (smoking), and other factors are contributing to his skinniness.

Yup. I was at 165 - 170 when I smoked (6'1") and went over 200 after I quit. I am finally back to 180 after quitting several years ago.
Lighten up people. I saw the picture of bammy in his shorts with the knobby knees and FLIP FLOPS ON AND had to laugh. The reason he is so skinny is that his period is acting up from all the stress he has been under. It is HARD to find new vacation spots don’t you know !?
I agree. It looks like a thinness due to being sick. Maybe this is how they will explain his voluntary departure. It will save the Country from a Civil War. I always thought he would leave office due to so-called heath issues. Lately his eyes have looked sunken in and he appears very frail. Never have seen a President wear as much as O.

Your background obviously trumps what I know, and your explanation makes sense. I hadn't looked at Obama's pictures (it pains me to do so) - but I just thought his 'trim figure' could be accounted by his spending the bulk of his day 'playing'. But you are right, if his muscle mass is also shrinking, there's something else going on.

I won’t do it because I’m at work right now and I don’t think I would do it anyway. But if you Google “Obama shirtless” or “Obama swimsuit” you see that the guy had a wiry muscular build. We’re not talking Brian Urlacher here, or a world class body builder, he just had a muscular build and a vague six pack. Ugh saying that makes me throw up a little. The Obama currently seen in those pictures on Drudge looks like he has lost muscle mass, which leads me to a couple of possible conclusions.
He’s not engaging in as much weight training because his body is eating away at his muscles. His weight loss may also be triggered by the fact that he smokes a lot more than he used to, which could be a sign that he is suffering from stress. Medication can also cause weight loss or weight gain. Obama is losing weight, and not in a good way. I’m no doctor, but it seems to be triggered by drugs (nicotine, prescription drugs, etc), skipping meals or disease. Obama’s current build does not come from the gym because it does not show.
I agree, look at post 94 if you want to hear my theory it may be the same as yours.
