In the course of that investigation, The Freedomist has learned that the group, CREW, filed a charge on behalf of a Leonard S Togman. While Mr Togman may be a Delaware voter, what has been omitted from Melanie Sloan’s statements on this case, from the official complaint filed by the FEC, and the official statements made by CREW, is that Leonard Togman is Melanie Sloan’s father. Not only is Leonard Togman the father of Melanie Sloan, like Melanie Sloan herself, he also happens to be a heavy Biden supporter. He is also a strong supporter of the man many people believe Christine O’Donnell will challenge in 2012, Thomas Carper.
This story is about much more than Tea Party challenger Christine O’Donnell, this is about the tactics being used by progressives to assault our Tea Party and Conservative Leaders over and over again with personal assaults, using accusations, false charges, and a myriad of Alinksy-like tactics to undermine the person, since they cannot stand in front of the American people and tell them to vote for their kind of candidate, ones who are beholden to big government, big unions, and political class elitism. 1) Melanie Sloan’s father is Leonard S. Togman, a retired attorney from Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP.[3]
2) CREW’s Complaint against Christine O’Donnell is based upon — LEONARD S. TOGMAN (her father) — for “standing” of a Delaware voter.
3) Leonard S. Togman’s campaign donations are almost exclusively donations to JOE BIDEN and Thmoas Carper.
The Complaint against Christine O’Donnell is officially, formally brought on behalf of a Delaware voter LEONARD S. TOGMAN.
This same Leonard S. Togman has made 16 donations to Biden in the last decade, totaling $9,975, and 8 donations to Democratic Senator Tom Carper, whom everyone expects Christine O’Donnell to run against for the US Senate in 2012, totaling $4,500
67.7% of all of the Togman’s political donations have been to JOE BIDEN
30.5% of all of the Togman’s political donations have been to TOM CARPER, possible future opponent for Christine O’Donnell in 2012.

Well I doubt that an O’Donnell donor would file and FEC Complaint against Christine O’Donnell. It would have to be a Democrat. I bet it was someone who did not like Governor Blagorivich who pressed changes against him. Why would she believe that someone other than a political foe would press charges or claims against them. Funny she does not understand that concept. Now instead of deciding who did the filing. Why not work on your case so you can win in court. I tell you if I was being sued I would worry about my case and not who was involved.

So is O’Donnell guilty of what they are accusing her of doing?
It still could be shady. Can we please see the checks she personally wrote to the campaign on her rent first before saying she is a wounded bird. If this was me, I would have already put them on the internet for all to see.
She’s running again? This ought to be good.
We certainly cannot be involved in election fraud, which is what this seems to be.
It's so Obama to go to the mat on things like who got what donation, or who made which expense, or who did or didn't sign a petition required by law.
That's how he got to run almost all of his elections WITHOUT OPPOSITION.
Now, we see this Lennie running down the field doing an Obamaesque attack on behalf of Carper or some other Democrat puke in Delaware.
That tells you who is really in charge of this.

No one is saying that Christine is running again, or when or where if she does.
I think that Virginia Democrats were terrified (they were in fact) when Christine spoke to the Northern Virginia Tea Party on Dec. 7 because they thought she might move to Virginia and clean their clocks in a Republican-leaning State.
The point is that the Democrats *BELIEVE* Christine will run against Carper in 2012.
So you have a big Carper donor officially filing the FEC complaint against a likely Carper opponent in 2012, with the assistance of his daughter, the head of CREW.
Why is it that a retired lawyer who donates to ONLY Biden (67%) and Carper (30%) is bringing this FEC complaint against the probable (from their perspective) GOP opponent to Carper in 2012?
The bigger point is not to allow this bogus group CREW off the hook for being anything except a liberal attack machine which only targets conservative republicans. Melanie Sloan is a former staffer for the most hate-filled partisan in the Senate, CHUCK SCHUMER. CREW takes direction from liberal democrats. Everytime CREW is mentioned it needs to be tagged as a liberal special interest group.
The thrust of the story is that the leader of the very left wing CREW used her own father, who bears a different last name, without revealing the relationship.
Did you catch the name of the organization? CREW? It stands for Committee for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. Wouldn’t you think, if they are playing ‘ethics watchdog,’ that they had an obligation to be ‘transparent’ in their use of their leader’s dad to file the FEC complaint?
In law, there’s a requirement called “clean hands” that parties must have before filing claims if their claims are to be taken seriously. CREW does not have ‘clean hands.’
