I didn’t realize our Founders envisioned an income tax. All I know is there wasn’t a federal income tax until 1916, and ever since then, it’s been much harder for families to accumulate wealth and serve their own needs.
The founders did not envision anything like what we have today ever and, until the passage of the 16th amendment in 1913, nothing like it was constitutional!
