Plea deal mulled for Arizona Muslim who murdered his daughter in honor killing
Jihad Watch ^ | January 5, 2011

Posted on 01/06/2011 8:24:06 AM PST by La Lydia

In November 2009, the Arizona Republic reported (thanks to Pamela Geller) that, according to state prosecutor Stephanie Low, Faleh Almaleki admitted that he ran over his daughter on purpose: "By his own admission, this was an intentional act and the reason was that his daughter had brought shame on him and his family. This was an attempt at an honor killing." If he admitted to intentional murder, how is it that he was able to plead not guilty, and why is a plea deal being discussed? Pamela Geller has more on this, also -- including how the prosecutor ruled out seeking the death penalty because he wanted to give "no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs."

Yes, you read that right.

Pamela also supplies the contact info: "Call, write, email Maricopa County Superior Court, 201 W Jefferson St # 4, Phoenix: (602) 506-2020. This is an outrage. Contact form. No plea for honor killers. Noor deserves justice. We want a trial."

Yes.

"Plea deal possible for Glendale man accused of killing daughter," from the Associated Press, January 5 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

"Attorneys are discussing a possible plea deal for an Iraqi immigrant accused of killing his daughter because he believed she was too Westernized. Attorneys discussed a plea deal for Faleh Hassan Almaleki on Wednesday during a last-minute closed-door meeting in Maricopa County Superior Court, but did not reach an agreement...."

Almaleki has pleaded not guilty, and faces life in prison if convicted of the first-degree murder charge against him....

Noor was in a coma for two weeks before succumbing to her injuries, in a case that caused outrage nationwide and that prosecutors called an "honor killing."

“Muslim who murdered his daughter in honor killing”

Wouldn’t “sharia killing” have been more accurate?

At the very least “ritual killing”.

“no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs.”

But wouldn’t that guarantee him paradise? Wouldn’t it be insensitive of us to deny him paradise?

May all the politically-correct and politically-corrupt RATs see this photo and know they’re aiding this kind of murder.

How about executing him for murder? It is not his beliefs that are at issue, it is if he (by his own admission) intentionally ran over a young woman and killed her.

So does the prosecutor’s office think that this POS father killing his daughter over something this trivial is no big deal, or that he had legitimate reason to kill her, or that they are too incompetent to get a conviction? None of the reasons for a possible plea deal make them look too good.

When is the last time some one was executed in Arizona?

We plea out murder all the time..it saves court/trial costs. Most wind up with life without parole.

Reading this post and can only think to responde with recent e-mail rec'd. Not the first time, of course, that Australia has given a 'population' what for. .. when and how. This IS impressive. I hope we have such Leadership before it is too late.

******

Australia says NO - Second Time she has done this!/ Amazing, 'must read':

Australian Prime Minister does it again!!

It took a lot of courage for this woman to speak., what she had to say for the world to hear. . . .she was willing to take a stand on her beliefs and those of Australians. We need such leadership!

Prime Minister Julia Gillard - Australia

Australia's Leadership needs to our answer. . .rec'd this in an email. . .worth sharing and not the first time Australia has told these people 'what for'. . .when and how.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law, were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:

'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take It Or Leave It.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves in Canada & USA , We will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

*****************

If you agree please SEND THIS ON and ON, to as many people as you know

The first step in making Sharia law supreme in Maricopa County, AZ was just taken by this idiot of a prosecutor. Now we will have precedent that a premeditated honor killing is not a capital crime eligible for the death penalty. Next, they will go for manslaughter as the charge. Twenty years from now, honor killings will be a petty offense, punishable by a stern talking to by the imam.

well, maybe the first time Papa ran over his daughter, it was an impulsive “mistake”

but backing up and running over her again, making sure to crush her head and spine..well, that does seem like maybe it was premeditated to finish the job

Where does the Prosecutor get off talking about “no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs.” What does Christianity have to do with it??? It's the freaking Law of the State of Arizona under the Constitutional Law of the State which is further under the Constitutional Law of the Federal Government.

If murder is a crime under any document in the State of Arizona, then the penalties apply. If leniency is given for any reason, it sure as heck isn't because somebody is a Christian acting in that official capacity. What a load of dummies we have in this country. Every day I'm amazed at just how uneducated this nation is. Pretty soon, we'll be on par with the Afghans, or maybe dumber because our best and brightest are over there nation-building while their own nests are burning.
