Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who over the past year made himself into the Senate's most rabid opponent of repealing Don't Ask, Don't Tell, has softened his tone and now says he'll do anything he can to help repeal go smoothly.

The GOP is totally keeling to the homos. FUJM
McCain is senile.
Sounds like Mrs McCain has Jonny’s testicles in a lock box.
As if I needed another reason to hate that worthless RINO SOB.
That guy is a freak. A political PC freak. I have NEVER seen any politician - democrat or republican - who will float with whatever wind than this guy.
It’s unnatural. The vietmanese did something to him. It’s WEIRD.
Don’t worry. Michael Medved will soon be scolding you for doubting that Great Conservative, John McCain.
It was probably his poodle Linseed. He seemed a little peckish on Greta’s show last night.
I am so sorry there were so many STUPID people in AZ that voted this jerk back in.
Since this is reality now, why shouldn’t McCain want to help make it work? What should he do, want for chaos in the military? I don’t see this as a flip flop but rather wanting to ensure the damage done to the military is minimal. Doesn’t mean he supports the policy. Just means now that it’s in place, we should hope and work for the best to ensure the impact on the military is as non-adverse as possible. If it works, then great. If not, then we’ll need to work to get a president who will help us repeal the repeal of DADT.
Check it out ping
They ought to create a new service branch just for them so they can fight gay wars.
I agree
My God that was quick. Here just recently I commended him for his stance against its passage. He was just showboating, apparently
No surprise.
Palin’s running mate....
P.S. I haven’t listened to Medved since then.....
John McCain never fails to disappoint. I have been surprised at how conservative he has seemed to be for the past few months. Every single time I think I might trust him, he turns again.
Man believes in nothing. He has no convictions of any kind. How can you go from being the most rabid opponent of something to trying to smooth-talk people into supporting it a year later?
I wouldn’t trust Mr. McCain with a 3-minute egg.
Tower of Jello.
Of course not, that's why the implementation of the DADT repeal has to be stopped, since this will be the result of implementing this.
Here is a thought experiment to prove my point ... What would happen if men and women bunked and showered together ?
That was way too rational. Please take a cue from the mob, and join in the kneejerk anti-McCain rage.
