They don’t even eat cheese in the Middle East, do they.

Dude...if you don’t want to be recorded, you just politely tell them sorry, you don’t do bacon because you’re a halal-friendly store, and you send them to the one down the street. Doing what you did pretty much guarantees you’re going to get recorded, uploaded to YouTube, and pointed and laughed at.
It appears they DO eat cheese in the Middle East:
I understand that cheese that contains animal rennet is not halal - as the rennet is taken from the stomach of new born cows (eurgh) and these cows are not slaughtered in a halal way.
Check the ingredients - you can get cheese that is vegetarian and will say so with a symbol and doesn't contain animal rennet.
How nice they care about cows so much, huh.
Sheesh, I don’t buy it.
Or they should supply soy bacon and solve it that way, but muslims are not known for imagination or creativity.
