John Wheeler walked into a Wilmington, Delaware sandwich shop less than 24 hours before he was killed and had “super bloodshot eyes,” according to the person who sold him coffee. The clerk, who did not want to be identified, says he thought Wheeler was homeless and that clearly something was wrong.
"His eyes were the most bloodshot I have ever seen,” he told Fox News, saying that it appeared he had been wearing the same clothes for a long time, because the cuffs on his white shirt were filthy. But the clerk said when Wheeler started to talk, he appeared to interact normally and was mentally aware, ordering a cup of coffee. He told us he did not appear to be confused and disoriented as others have said, and that he sold him coffee at about 8 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 30th....

Except for the fact that the ME ruled his death a homicide. There is something clearly indicated on or in his body that supports this ruling.

I read that he was a Biowarfare expert on some website last night but I can’t remember which - too late and too tired. I also read some of Putin’s propaganda spinning that he was hit because he was about to blow the whistle on a leak. What are the odds that is true? And then I found the red hot squashed tidbit below and haven’t slept well since.

A well-dressed, disoriented person has “rob me” written all over him. Could be it escalated into murder.
Yesterday, I read some more details here.
There are several additional stories to link to from the above link as well as comments from locals. Among those, I remember reading that police have linked Wheeler to the rodent bombs (aren't these similar to bug bombs, and are they the best way you can think of to start a fire?) found in the partially constructed house that Wheeler and his wife objected to. Also, authorities have pulled up floorboards in Wheeler's own kitchen. There are also prints from a knobby soled boot all over that floor.
I don't know what to believe at this point. Sadly, there is such corruption everywhere now, how can we trust what we're being told?

So, cause of death = blunt force Obama.
While walking around, he could have been side-swiped by a car which might explain his broken shoe. Perhaps the driver didn’t realize and kept driving.
The injuries from a pedestrian/vehicle collision might well resemble an assault with a deadly weapon.
It’s all pure conjecture until the police release his injuries and proof of both manner/cause of death.
Only in the movies does the hero always win.
Based on what I've read so far, both Mr. Wheeler and his wife were employed one time or another as field intelligence. His wife appears to have been a 'spy' since she was 20 years old.
That may have something to do with his death, and it may not.
I seriously doubt that the public will ever 'know' what really happened. It wouldn't be the first time.
Perhaps he kept an antidote in his shoe? Being an expert, he would know what agents were most dangerous and how to protect himself. He at first appears disoriented, then lucid but with bloodshot eyes? Wife out of contact, perhaps told before hand that he would be out of pocket for a while, don’t worry? Not uncommon for someone in his field. Cell phone at the neighbors, boot prints, etc. planted evidence after the fact meant to lead in a certain direction? Certainly his final outcome in a dumpster is a very humiliating way to be found in death—not something anyone else who is well respected like he was would want, huh? Not a bad message to send, and perhaps get a mob guy implicated in the process. Here’s where the birds come it...killed two birds with one stone!

That was in a Fox News report by Megan Kelly where she interviewed Lieutenant General Tom McInerney who said:“This has to have been a professional hit job”.
He is asking for an FBI investigation into Wheeler’s death based upon the fact that Wheeler had top government security clearances and moved in very high government circles. Most recently he had become an “expert” in cyber-warfare.
My take on this is that the timing of his death coincides with two very significant developments.
One, Wheeler may have been targeted and neutralized by Iranian agents as a result of the covert Stuxnet virus attack on that country’s nuclear reactor computers. Israel just recently came out with an estimate that the Stuxnet virus attack set the Iranian goal of a nuclear weapon back as much as five years. It is generally acknowledged that Stuxnet was a covert op but no one is talking ownership.
Two, the Iranians could have combed the “chatter” from the WikiLeaks dump. What they found may have pointed the finger at Wheeler. It’s how they would respond even if it was after the fact and the damage had already been done. Retaliation is a strong currency within these regimes.
Iranians would almost certainly be able to position a black ops team in the U.S. for as long as it was necessary to take out a target. Wheeler may just have been the first in a long line of casualties resulting from the WikiLeaks debacle.
I think he had an aneurysm; then possibly mugged and murdered.
