Fitzpatrick is a retread who only reluctantly got Tea Party support.
The incumbent Dem was Pat Murphy who was about as bad as you can get.

On second look this was a pretty cheap shot at Fitzpatrick with regard to him meeting with "donors"
The $30 fee was to pay for the bus ride for supporters from Bucks County.
It doesn't mean, though, that he doesn't deserve a kick in the tail for missing the ceremony.
