Guaranteed they’ll keep after Boehner over his smoking with the same ferocity that they ignore Obama’s.
I loath smoking but appreciate that Boehner is a what you see is what you get kind of guy.
Waiting for Brian to go after Obama about his smoking. {crickets}
And on the other hand, no one has any idea who Obama is or where he comes from. But that's not frontpage news.
The MSM is not your friend!
Good for him. At least he is dealing with the issue honestly. Christie says the same thing about his weight—he knows he should lose weight but he hasn’t been able to so far. Much more refreshing and honest than the politicians who say they’ve quit smoking and hide it or go into some overwrought explanation.
I have little use for men who cry over anything other than the death of a family member. I just dont trust “emotional” men... They need to go on a LowT treatment plan.

My grandfather was born in 1892. He was never told that feeling things strongly and emotionally was wrong. Personally I don’t trust men who appear to feel nothing. Tears are not a sign of weakness but show a man is cognizant of life.
“Personally I dont trust men who appear to feel nothing.”
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Interesting that it is mostly liberals who are attacking Boehner for his tendency to cry. Total hypocrisy...)
pfff...
If we had less tears and more punching perhaps we could get out of this socialist disaster. Or maybe its just better to suffer and FEEL the pain because it makes us cognizant of life?
You need to go on an Emmaus weekend
I loathe a lot of things, but smoking doesn’t make the cut.
It’s legal. Chocolate covered cashews are legal too, for now.
The government should either make smoking illegal or shut up about our personal habits, including our diets.
I like Boehner and I like that he smokes, admits it, and doesn’t plan to quit unless he wants to.
I like him better because he smokes—at least he isn’t a friggin’ liar like Obama who SAYS he is quitting but everyone knows that is bullcrap.
I don’t want to turn this into a smoking thread but...
When one’s personal habit impacts my health it should be regulated.
Please don’t reply with perfume, cologne, farting, etc.. Let’s keep this in the world of common sense.
Yup. And some on the Right are buying into it.
If you want violence, join the left. I prefer the honesty of tears. He felt humbled to be the Speaker. It shows respect and honor for the office.
All the studies that back your premise have been done by the left. They are agenda studies and have nothing to do with fact. You see if they can convince enough people then they can use abusive taxes etc. It's about MONEY, not health.
It is possible to shed a tear while beating someone (figuratively, of course). Forget the tears...let’s see what he DOES.
They have closed the Global Warming committee. Yesterday.
