Well, while the ReDepression was in full-swing, I kept getting offers from Texas. I kept hearing from many others that there was plenty of work there. I kept seeing a struggling, but still-vibrant economy.
Anecdotal, all. But it was what I heard and saw.
Fair enough. And come to think of it, a lot of my wife’s family are in Texas, and they are doing pretty well job-wise.
