How does he stand on the conservative spectrum? He is a likeable man, articulate, schooled in the ways of the media. His face is well known, so east and west coasters know of him, in addition to his midwestern base. He has legislative experience and is now getting Executive experience. He just may be the candidate we are looking for.

Conservative pol, then I know he/she is on the right track. Amen.

No it won’t. They don’t have the votes. Do you really think some disgusting Radical Lefties actions are going to stop the wheels of change. NO.

Give him some time. If he can tackle Ohio's problems over the next 3 or 4 years, then he could be a good candidate. Not for 2012 - too soon.

I remember when Kasich was in the US House of Representatives and he did a good job.I contributed to his campaign for Governor and I am keeping an eye on his stance for the second Amendment. He has come out and said he regrets voting against assault weapons in the 90s. We are all watching!

Just wait until Kucinich loses district 10 when the redistricting is done.
Even though John has nothing to do with that, he`ll be blamed for it.....

Well considering Ohio is now controlled top to bottom by republicans and that there are really only a handful of dmocrats left I’d say odds are pretty good that many of these districts will be put up agaist each other and 2 dems will lsoe thier seats.Kooksinich said on the air at Fox the other day that he thought his district would be one that was redisticted.

With our luck, they`ll consolidate 10 and 11 and throw Marcia Fudge under the bus. If there is a real chance Dennis could be outed, there would be massive protests at every welfare office in Cuyahoga County. Can you imagine people being interviewed asking”Well who`s gonna pay for my house, car, furniture, clothes and kids? You don`t expect me to go find a JOB, do you???”

They’ll protect Fudge, and not just because of the Voting Rights Act. The GOP created that district in 1970.

However, I think Kucinich will knock out either Sutton or Sawyer in a primary.

Northern Ohio is where most of the population has fled from so her district may not be protected at all.She may be one that is put up against Kooksinich. Can you imagine that primary what a hoot that will be!
