As I said when this supposed accomplice was first mentioned, this sheriff is not to be trusted, so we should wait and see.

Earlier, NPR was responsible for spreading the false news that Gifford had been killed, which the other news agencies including Fox all picked up. NPR then apologized for the mistake. They said that the reason they announced she was dead was BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THIS LOONY LEFTIST SHERIFF TOLD THEM.

Dupnik should have this outburst pinned on him for all to see, and, if his office had anything to do with ignoring previous death threats from this mentally ill person, or in allowing him to register a gun (if it was a registered gun), then it should be shouted from the roof tops and he should lose his job. The left, including this leftist sheriff, obviously have no limits when it comes to pushing themselves and their agenda. Others, including a nine year old child, a political aide, and a US judge were killed in this attack, and all the left cares about is if they can somehow manufacture a connection with Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, or anyone else on their list of those they actually hate. Theirs is the party of hate.

The sheriff may have been speaking more out of grief than political bias last night. I had the impression he knew the murdered judge well. I may be mistaken.

Screaming faces on TV and uninvolved political grandstanders, like Dick Durban, wouldn't have that excuse.
