A rescue helicopter lifts off as first responders evacuate victims from a Congress on Your Corner event in Tucson, Arizona, where U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) among others were shot and seriously wounded. (Reuters)
Democrats plotted to blame the tea party patriots for yesterdays slaugher in Arizona.
A democratic operative admitted this to The Politico.
Of course, Politico buried it in their story.

Not surprised but WOW anyway.
Gee. YA THINK? ;)
“Exploit! Vitriol! Exploit! Vitriol! Exploit! Vitriol!” The commies sound like a bunch of flippin’ parrots.
I don’t call them “dims” for nothing. The problem is the rank and file dims who would buy this sick baloney!
They had the “What and Why” of this story written months, probably years ago.
Waiting for the right moment to fill in “Who, When, Where”.
Ugh, they’re just like parasites.....waiting for their next victim.
Deftly? I don't remember that at all. I remember Clinton TRYING to pin it on talk radio in particular. He obviously failed miserably as talk radio just got more and more popular.
Over on DU, they are whooping it up, blaming this on Palin, Beck, Rush, whoever they have political disagreements with. Those sickos are enjoying this. They don’t care about Gillibrands, the little girl or anyone else. A bunch of fanatics.
Glenn Beck has been warning his listeners for several months to not be violent in any way because the first act of violence will be pinned on talk radio, Tea Party, i.e. “the usual suspects” on the right. He was right. Clinton bald faced lied about Oklahoma City being Rush’s fault. Of course their second thread is guns! Guns are evil! ban guns!
They don’t have to plot...they automatically think like that....and are group thinkers!
Waiting for the right moment to fill in Who, When, Where.
Yes. And, they are likely also putting into motion regulations and/or legislation aimed at limiting free speech that they have been waiting to implement and the right event to to provide the impetus.
Actual Topic: Sheriffs News Conference Yesterday
Sheriff Clarence W. Dupnik
I think people such as yourself need to remember when you are so intent on blaming what voters have said as the cause for this tragedy, why not mention the rhetoric from Democrat politicians and liberal talking heads including:
President Obama:
If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun, Obama said in Philadelphia last night. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. Ive seen Eagles fans.
And I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.
Or John Kerry who said on the Bill Maher show: I could have gone to 1600 Pennsylvania and killed the real bird with one stone.
Or Howard Dean I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for
and: This is a struggle between good and evil and were the good?
and we need to remember that the enemy here is George Bush, not each other.
Or Senator Chuck Schumer who called a flight attendant a bitch.
Or the Florida Democrats who ran an ad calling for the assassination of Donald Rumsfeld
Or New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi who called for Senator Schumer to put a bullet between the presidents eyes?
Or Jonathan Chait who said I hate President George W. Bush.
Or singer Rickie Lee Jones who aid of President Bush Youre an ignorant, low-class, opportunistic man, both personally and politically, who does everything for political gain and nothing for the wellbeing of the people, and you should not be in office, and the kind of fascism youre perpetrating on our country we dont want, and youre out. Were done with you. Ffffhgggmm.
And when asked if she would be willing to take Bush out for the benefit of democracy? If I say that, I might get arrested when I go back. And I have to go home. Shes thinking it out carefully. I guess the question is, would I kill anyone? And the answer is, no. But would I feel sorry if someone killed him? No, I wouldnt. It would depend on who killed him, I guess.
Or The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn where they superimposed the words Snipers Wanted over an image of Bush delivering his acceptance speech at the Republican convention.
Or Nobel Peace Prize winner Betty Williams who said she could kill President Bush?
Or Randi Rhodes who joked about killing the President?
Or Reverend Wright who called Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Condoskeeza [sic] Rice.
Or Englands Charlie Brooker who wrote: On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sods law dictates hell probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr where are you now that we need you?
The Rats are looking for a ‘Reichstag Fire’ to use as an excuse to silence dissent.
I have no doubt the dems had their anti-Palin/Tea Party/2nd Amendment talking points prepared in advance and were simply waiting for an opportunity like yesterday’s massacre to feign outrage.
My liberal brother is caught up in this nonsense and sent me a “boycott foxiness thingy on my Facebook”. I told him he was silly and if the rep who was attached would have been Republican no one would be trying to blame MSNBC.
I have no doubt the dems had their anti-Palin/Tea Party/2nd Amendment talking points prepared in advance and were simply waiting for an opportunity like yesterday’s massacre to feign outrage.
But the left NEVER advocates violence against Conservatives or Republicans! Forget all about those things said about Bush...oh and that movie about assassinating him didn’t happen...
Today we have seen the results of irresponsible and dangerous rhetoric, former Democratic senator and presidential candidate Gary Hart wrote on Huffington Post.
Or, “Free speech for me is hate speech for thee.”
They all seem to be forgetting or failed to ascertain that the shooter was one of their fellow-travelers; Democrats are dumber than framing hammers.
Eat those words, Gar’. Eat `em up. Every single one, that’s a boy.
Yep, that’s why that scumbag State Rep. Lopez said to FNC yesterday, that her office had word that the perp was an Afgan Veteran and the vitriol of the Tea-party during the last election, played a part in what happened today .
Any more, as farfetched as it seems, I wouldn't doubt that they had the entire event planned. They were so fast to react to the shooting that they almost seemed to pre-act. As if the whole thing was orchestrated.
ud, did any of you read the comments? I think the real target was the Judge Roll.
Wow, I was blown away.
I think now the R’s have a chance to handle this correctly, and let the D’s fall on their own swords. Speaker Boehner, acting like an adult, is off to a good start, postponing normal business and taking charge of security.
I think the R’s need to stand clear as the dirty little secrets and facts about this perp and his leftist associations come to light. Let it ALL be on them.
Its like they’ve been reading from a script right from the beginning.
And how these statements are all conveniently forgotten.
The Democrats are terrible chess players. We know their moves 10 moves ahead.
I wouldn`t be surprised if the guy they`re looking for, in connection to this, was a leftist operative. Funded by some leftist shadow group, he could have groomed him for this operation expecting a “death by cop” outcome to silence the only witness. Question is, will this guy get the Lee Harvey Oswald treatment and how many other “useful idiots” do they have waiting?

"Is Daily Kos involved in Arizona Murders?"

"Jared Lee Loughner Burning the American Flag"

Loughner...... Confirmed Leftist by Friend on Twitter"

DHS Memo Suggests Shooter May Be Linked To Racist Organization"
The Democrat’s acusatory rhetoric itself is doing more to contribute to the polarization of the nation than the shooter’s action ever did. It is an obvious attempt to supress any open debate concerning dissent with the progressive agenda, the administration and the government. It is a challenge to conservatives who dare express and act on their beliefs. It is an agressive attack on free speech and the right of citizen’s to organize in political action. Through its rhetoric, the left has clearly replaced the shooter with the Tea Party and Sarah Palin. They have shown how little tolerance they have for dissent.
The shooter is the responsible party. The story should be about the victims and the shooter. His motivations are unknown, but his mental state is suspect. He has no verifiable affiliation with andy conservative group. It is an obscenity that the left has hijacked this story into a political attack for the purpose of quashing conservative opposition.
He wasn't scheduled to be there...last minute showup. Or that is what was reported on news.
For the record:
One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.
They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers, said the Democrat. Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.
Another Democratic strategist said the similarity is that Tucson and Oklahoma City both take place in a climate of bitter and virulent rhetoric against the government and Democrats.
This Democrat said that the time had come to insist that Republicans stand up when, for example, a figure such as Fox News commentator Glenn Beck says something incendiary.
Do we know he wasn’t being followed to find a moment?
It was indicated that someone called him and asked him to be there.
Where do they get these ideas from?
Sorry, I meant Giffords, not Gillibrands.
The shooter has said nothing about the Pelosi vote so far as we know. That comment was made by BoyBlue over at Daily KOS. He's another left wing nutcase from Tucson, but he's not the shooter.
Hit the link at the top of this thread and scroll down a bit through the comments.
Wow! I didn’t realize that the young victim was born on 9/11. Made me sit back and think for a minute.
It’s sad - a young girl, her whole life in front of her, and she’s killed in cold blood by a deranged leftist. Then, to top it off, we Tea Party members get blamed by the left.
I was not quite blown away but:
1. It is true there is a case on the docket curiously called: United States of America v. $333,520.00 in United States Currency et al
2. It is listed on the docket here: http://dockets.justia.com/docket/arizona/azdce/4:2010cv00703/568697/
3. If one wants to register he can follow the link to get details of the case.
4. I found it very curious that one congresswoman was shot and survives but that the DEATH of one federal judge appointed by Bush was coincidental
5. I also find it curious that it took almost 24 hours for much information to emerge on the SIX deaths and 13 or so others injured... we still don’t know much about that. Strange? I think so.
6. It is interesting that the rhetoric about the nut job being a military veteran even though he is 22 years old an his Facebook page accounts for all his time since high-school being accounted for by... more school. As I recall, an enlistment now is Four years isn’t it?
7. In the same breath the media, including Fox and Drudge, reported he was a veteran they also reported about his scrapes with the law... Scrapes that would have landed him in the stockade or discharged or ineligible for service I should think. Not much common sense used in reporting his status, or was common sense even in the room?
8. The timing of this event is very strange. I don’t believe in coincidence.
It feels like something stinks to me. It felt that way yesterday, just too much confusion and it took until mid-afternoon to get the story organized.
Like someone said, get your Dramamine out boys and girls because the spin on this is going to be enough to make anyone sick.
The perfect coordination between politicians and the press in their standardized responses is very creepy. I think this is how the 'Journo-list' thing was supposed to work. Generic, universal group-think, instantly adaptable to any situation. The first 'answer', no matter how foolish, is the one that sticks in the public's mind.
Good list. Good e-mail to the trigger-happy Sheriff.
Alec would be angry that you neglected to include his rant:
Im thinking to myself if we were in other countries, we would all, right now, all of us together, . . . would go down to Washington and we would stone [Republican U.S. Representative] Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death! Wait! . . . Shut up! No, shut up! Im not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death, and we would go to their homes and wed kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families. - Alec Baldwin
Its pretty clear that while W did nothing to fight back against the constant attacks of the left, the marxist in chief freeloader currently in the WH and his comrades have encouraged their followers to demonize the GOP and the right constantly, doing everything from giving them the middle finger to sending union goons to assault peaceful protesters.
The result has been a priming of the pump for political violence of an extreme nature.
While the deranged leftist psycho that attacked this harmless wife and step mother and others for no apparent reason does not appear to be influenced by this rhetoric, there are thousands out there ready to go if another attack comes.
Therefore, it is imperative that the marxist in chief IMMEDIATELY state that the Tea Party, Palin, Limbaugh, Beck, GOP etc had NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS and get the imbeciles that follow the marxist banner in check.
His failure to do so as of yet is hardly surprising, but the GOP “leadership” ought to be insisting behind the scenes that he do so rather quickly, before all hell really breaks loose.
The marxist in chief has a chance to lead and unite or continue to divide and encourage his supporters to violence.
The silence and insinuations that the right has something to do with this is completely unacceptable behavior from a POTUS.
I saw that and my stomach dropped. It gave me a believable reason why this might have happened.
All this “reporting” is so ridiculous it comes off as a deliberate attempt to get some eyes off the ball and focused somwhere else.
Of course, I don’t know, but it sure needs to be looked into. I put nothing past this administration.
