Daniel Hernandez had only been Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' intern for five days, and on Saturday, he may have saved her life.
The University of Arizona junior was standing 30 feet away from the Democratic congresswoman when she was shot in the head at a meet-and-greet event in her district, and he immediately rushed to her side. As everyone on hand waited for emergency medical support to arrive, Hernandez held Giffords's head in his lap and applied pressure to her wound.

Maybe this woman will revisit her views on abortion and human life. She is very pro abortion. It appears she was thankful that someone wanted her to LIVE.

Wow, if I’m not mistaken that is the name the Dime Store Media originally reported as the shooter’s. I could be el wrongo but I remember it being an Hispanic name, something very similar to his.
20 years old and so much presence of mind in an emergency, very inspiring. That young man will go far in his life.

Does anyone know who stopped the gunman? Details are sketchy on that?
Anyone hear this doctor that’s doing all of the interviews? He held down the shooter until the cops arrived? Seemed kind of weird that with so many gunshot victims that he wasn’t helping with first aid.
This is desperate posturing by the sodomites and their allies in the media. The shooter was a self professed homosexual. Ill say it again. The shooter was a queer. So highlighting this interns sexual deviancy somehow erases that? Where are the media stories outlining loughner’s homosexuality? Why try to focus on this homo when a homo set everything in motion?

At images.google.com I came across photos of a happy looking male named Jared Lee Loughner who was hugging women.
Over at ABOVE TOP SECRET, I read that all but six of the shooting victims transported THEMSELVES to local hospitals.... and thus the early reports about the number of actual victims varied so widely.
No. Loughner made several references to being a homosexual on several places on the internet. Others have brought this up in a few places, but the media is desperatly trying to hide it. As for hugging a woman... you think homos don’t have women friends and don’t hug those women?
The comments are sick. They are trying to get people to sign a petition to stop Palin from inciting hate and violence.
