The Tucson events of yesterday are tragic and despicable...
However, for the GOP Leader of the House, Eric Cantor, to delay House votes for at least a week, warrants our criticism.
The NEW House has important work that must get done. Delay of the "People's" work is a terrible act of the NEW GOP Leadership.
It’s a week. We’ll survive.
Tom! Tom! Tom!
One less week to deal with the Debt Limit problem.
An opening prayer and moment of silence tomorrow would've been appropriate.
Delay is okay, No new laws to put us in cages. Do not forget Repeal! Repeal! Repeal!
Anytime that Congress is doing nothing is a good day.
If only.
This is going to be a week of conservative bashing.
And I fear the Republican’s in Congress are going to roll over and apologize for things they have nothing to do with.
This delay is a HUGE mistake. We need to call these fools starting tomorrow.
Repeal ObamaCare. Cut Spending. Stop anchor babies. Cut taxes. Impeach Obama. Let’s go!
Agreed...
Agreed. The Pubbies are playing right into the hands of America’s enemies.
The left is blaming the shootings on Sarah Palin and the Tea Party activists and alleging that Jarad was a right wing nut case.
Over this upcoming week, the true leftist nature of Jarad will become more widely known and by next week, the folks that blamed the conservatives will look more stupid than normal. IMHO, this mentally ill Democrat shot the Blue Dog Giffords because she was not liberal enough and voted against Pelosi. We need to blame Pelosi for persecuting the Blue Dogs and encouraging Democrats to "take them out".
Absolutely! The USA can survive just fine without Congress voting on anything this week.
The Republican leadership had no choice. When a member is shot down, you have to show respect. And if it’s a member of the opposition, you can’t conduct business as usual.
The make-up of the House isn’t going the change in a week.
The necessary actions will be conducted in a week. This isn’t that big a deal.
Of course they will. It's bred into their genes.
