It’s more likely that the kid has schizophrenia, which LSD mimics. He’s the right age for coming down with schizophrenia and the disjointed rambling of his writing has the look of someone whose thought process is disintegrating.
He was a heavy pot user too. Possible the schizophrenia was brought on by the Marijuana use.
