It has amazed me that one fact seems to escape many of the FReepers posting about this case -- that the body was found in a dumpster in Newark, DE, twelve miles from the site of Wheeler's security-camera-recorded wanderings in Wilmington at 8:42 p.m. on a very cold night, hours later and a change of clothes after he was taped in the parking lot looking disoriented or injured.

So please, those of you who are not paying attention, stop saying he had a stroke and climbed into a Dumpster to get warm. It just doesn't fit.

I would have to think that the police, over a day, let alone two, would’ve talked to this person and known he was either on drugs, drugged or physically incapacitated. You don’t wander around any city, big or small, in this condition, unless your a known homeless person.

I believe the police have been saying all along that Wheeler was murdered.

oh no, I caught that. Reading the last paragraph of the article, is it accurate about Wheeler’s phone being found in the neighbor’s under-construction house ? - which would put the phone there after Wheeler finished using it on the 28th to post to his alumni website? or am I misreading that? I’m wondering if Wheeler was (without his knowledge) drugged as opposed to stroked? He was aware he was robbed of his briefcase and wallet and apparently lost a shoe in the scuffle and had sense of mind to carry that shoe with him. He didn’t want the police - didn’t want it public that he was in trouble - but he did very much want to find his car. There was a comment his eyes were ‘very bloodshot’ but wouldn’t that also be a result of a freezing cold night spent outside? It seemed almost, in the office building where he spent some time and several people asked if they could help him, that he was hiding? And speaking of cars, did they find his?

i’m here to back up your response but if we look at Ashley Turton and her demise (Turton has not been given press at all even on Drudge which really bothers me)........

Body of Turton found in vehicle/no dumpster around/no sec cams that anyone knows of/in a very cold am/or nite hrs/@ her residence but unknown about clothing whether fresh or from ****time of departure from last known departure site***//and most of all what was her physical condition from the last place she left.

DRUDGE has buried these 2 reports & now i’m really getting sick to my stomach.

I’m feeling i’ll never trust MDRUDGE again.

Change of clothes? I understood he had something new over his clothes, certainly something he could have purchased with the $120 he said he had. And I don't know what parking lot you're talking about where they taped him looking disoriented or injured. From 10th and Orange, past the Nemours building and down past the Hotel du Pont, you don't have any lots...there are only garages there. If he was moving from the south before he got to 10th and Orange, there are lots between there and his lawyer's office--was he taped there? And the courthouse garage is So please, those of you who are not paying attention, stop saying he had a stroke and climbed into a Dumpster to get warm. It just doesn't fit.

It can.

For example, perhaps...

He heads off to NY and DC, got off the train at Wilmington on the evening of Dec 28. He heads the short distance to his car, slips and falls, hitting his head. He comes to, and flags down a ride to New Castle, etc. Or he gets off the train, takes the bus to New Castle or gets a ride...and has a stroke as he's going into his house. The next day, he wanders up to the pharmacy, but is able to get a bus or other ride to Wilmington. Etc.

Again, so much is out there unknown by us...what suit was he wearing when he left DC? Was it the same one as the following day or not? There are many possibilities, and we can't solve it for sure--or rule out many things--without that information.

My totally unstantiated by facts vote would be the dumpster at the McDonalds. It is in the back corner of the parking lot - with a parking space marked right next to it. No fence or other obstacles around it. I can envsion a pick up truck, with the body in the bed, parking there - the driver, either alone or with a helper, standing in the bed and just lifting the body right into the dumpster.

It has been said that there is a view from the drive through window but I doubt the employee spent his time watching the dumpster.

It is a strange parking lot but today at noon there were no vehicles anywhere near the dumpster. The exit from that part leads to a one way street that was also absent of traffic at noon.

Have there been reports as to 'what' clothes he was wearing when found?

Also; have 'lost' this story for a while. . .have they said yet, what condition his body was; and how he died?

I’m not familiar with the exact type of truck that was used for refuse collection but have you considered the possibility of Wheeler’s body being stuffed into the garbage truck in between stops. Is it a possibility?

I thought the body was found in a land fill.

There are Freepers who are former veterans from every branch of our military, former intelligence agents, former law enforcement who can help figure out Wheeler’s murder or at least point out the obvious discrepancies and cover up.

We owe it to this patriot to ensure his murder isn’t swept under the political carpet.
