I had to turn off F&F this morning. They started talking about the DHS memo that states that the shooter “may” have a connection with the racist group American Renaissance.
“may”.
This from the Department that fabricated a report last year on the threat from talk radio or the tea party or some such.
Don’t believe any of this crap. FNS has not acquitted themselves well over the last few days.

Do I always go to Walgreens with my gun? Why yes, yes I do. And Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, CVS, RiteAid, etc etc etc.......

It’s a tragedy that none of the victims were armed, if they were, perhaps they might not be victims?
Tell me when and where the bad guy is gonna cause problems, then I’ll only carry it at that time.
If you apply for a concealed carry permit you’d be a damned fool not to carry your weapon with you.

Sometimes...but all the time in my vehicle.
I remember about 9 years ago my Jewish step mother reacting in total shock when we told her we had guns in the house. She said, “You have guns in this house!!?? WHAT about the CHILDREN!?!?” Her face was contorted in horror....
So I said (calmly) “Why, yes we do. The children know not to touch them.”
We went back and forth then on self protection, etc. I mentioned that in Israel, just about everyone Jewish carries a gun around and kids don’t go on shooting rampages or play with Mommy and Daddy’s Uzi. That calmed her down and brought her back to this planet.
The world IS a dangerous place. When we live so comfortably and safely that we react in horror to the idea of something so potentially (but certainly not on its own) deadly as a gun, when in fact truly EVIL people are out there without any moral compunction to do good, in fact, with often a desire to do really bad things to people, then I think one is NOT living in reality.
We all need to be pushed back into the truth.
The world is dangerous. Be a victim, or chose not to.
Do you always carry a Fire extinguisher in your car?
Do you always carry a cell phone with you at all times?
Do you always have a first-aide kit in your home?
These are all items you have in case of emergency, why are Guns the odd-ball in that group?
This is a perfect example of why you need a gun.
Will be interesting to see how the media plays this.
Why didn't he shoot the guy? Might haved saved the taxpayers some money.
I was in Walgreen’s last Friday with two concealed weapons and Mrs. Mad had one also. The Manager knows us and knows we carry in his store. He is always very glad to see us and tells me that it is a comfort knowing we are they to deal with any problem.
Now Gretchen, I am pretty sure you do not go to Walgreen's without your make-up bag. Isn't that just being prepared?
