CNN is considering replacing Kathleen Parker, co-host of its new evening program "Parker Spitzer," according to people familiar with the matter, as the network struggles to reverse a steep slide in its evening audience.
The conservative columnist could be replaced by a new co-host to serve alongside former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, as executives mull a shake-up of the show, the people said, adding that no decision has been made. "Parker Spitzer" hasn't been able to significantly build its audience since its debut just over three months ago.

From the point of view if CNN producers Spitzer is a conservative. Maybe they should pair him with a liberal.
Schultz/Spitzer?
Falling off a cliff into the Grand Canyon is more like it..............
CNN needs to understand that even liberals are not interested in watching Spitzer; most of the Northeast liberal women see him as the epitomy of the man they divorced. CNN’s biggest mistake for this timeslot was when it allowed Crossfire to atrophy.
It was the reason I used to watch CNN when it was the only cable news channel. Unless they get back to that original format there is no hope for this timeslot against O’Reilly and Olbermann, who split the viewing period based on the political demographics. If so-called moderates are not tuning in to Spitzer-Parker then the strategic approach is wrong.
You should read this moron’s latest column!
“Maybe CNN should replace Kathleen Parker with Ashley Dupre.”
Nice...two experts in the world’s oldest professions: “Spitz and Ditz”!
But, but with the astute reporting by CNN over the last 48 hours....what with all the conclusions and no facts...surely the audiences for all their programs will grow exponentially....who cannot want to watch such drivel?
the audiences for all their programs will grow exponentially negative................
Straight to God’s ears!
I recall reading a thread here a few weeks ago that Partker was considering bailing on this train wreck of a show. Guess she decided to follow through.
Based on your info that she’s a demo, it would be interesting to me to hear what E.D. has to say. She didn’t come across that way to me when she was on F&F, but I’d like to hear what she says on “another” network.
May not get the chance since they’re also floating Kathleen Parker’s name. I have no use for Kathy.
Thanks,for the info.
I was astounded when CNN put the whore-monger on his own show.
The whole point of this show was to rehabilitate Spitzer’s image. CNN execs obviously are having Bill Clinton flashbacks and want to make sure that the public is taught to accept this type of sexual misconduct from current and future Democratic officials. Imagine if Spitzer was a Republican, he would never have been given a show. Now that CNN realizes the public is not interested, their solution is to bring in another female prop instead of getting rid of Spitzer. CNN is basically confirming their agenda by this action. CNN is obviously in full crash mode to be attempting this nonsense in their current condition.
I also had the misfortune of watching this show on its opening night. Zero chemistry, Parker was a typical subversive RINO (i.e. media-blessed conservative), and Spitzer was so swarmy as to be unwatchable. It has only taken CNN 3 months to figure out this was not going to work? After 10 minutes I bailed from the pain level being to high to stomach them.

“”Eliot Spitzer’s co-host Kathleen Parker set to get boot from CNN show””
I would replace them both with a crackling firelog video, a glass of wine and soft music. CNN viewers would soar.
or.....empty airspace is also an improvement.
