Very good. What do you know about oranges and magical mercury?

Oranges are yummy and a good source of Vitamen C. They are one of the most ancient cultivated fruit. They were used by sailors to prevent scurvy. I could google it if you need to know more.

Indians believe mercury to be a important element in alchemy. Chinese “medicine” uses mercury in a lot of remedies. I’ve heard that Mercury is used in some Santeria and Vodoo rituals. Felt hats used to be made with a mercury solution which drove the workers crazy (hence the term “mad as a hatter”). I’m not familiar with the term “magical” mercury.

What do you know about oranges.
