They were in the house.

She crashed INTO the garage at low speed and her car burned.

As a lobbyist and with a BIG merger deal pending, she may have pulled an all-nighter at work (or been partying), came home at dawn, passed out as she pulled into her driveway and just drove straight through the door into the garage

In that part of DC, driving those streets at 5AM, she may also have been a crime victim. You have to go through some real bad areas to get to the rich folks’ blocks of restored old homes. Many of those old garages are actually carriage houses from last century- pretty nice places to restore but scary streets just blocks away

If she hit gas cans in the garage, the car burned, as she was unconscious at the wheel

All speculation is breathless gossip pending a cause of death

First John Wheeler. Now Ashley Turton. Who was the “adult male” mentioned in the article who supposedly was at home when all of this occurred? And why has the husband not been heard from, nor has he made any statements to the press? In the position that he is in? And why has the White House refused comment? Mrs. Wheeler was never heard from either, on the death of her husband. Not even a report of anger or outrage. From either of the spouses. All we have is silence. The way these two “deaths” are being handled by the media and by the investigative services is very, very suspicious.
