But it should also be noted that what we have learned so far about Loughner defies ideological branding. Based on his MySpace page and series of YouTube videos he apparently made, Loughner is fixated on his areas literacy rate, government "mind control methods," and ... something having to do with Americas currency. A high school classmate describes him as "left-wing." He also is apparently fond of "Mein Kampf" and Karl Marx and may be somehow connected to a fringe anti-immigration group. And he despised Giffords. Make what you will of all of that. My hunch is that Lougnher is just basically crazy, and that his political thinking isnt particularly coherent or organized.

The have gotten away with it my FRiend, as they always do.
The average citizen is too intellectually lazy to do anything but swallow what these creeps spoon feed them and they will only remember “that evil Sarah Palin made him do this”.
Unless and until there is someone to come forward in the media and blister their hide and expose them on camera, they will continue and they will win.
Only Hitler’s form of tyranny was acceptable.
They went on and on about how wrong these were.
Well then, he is a liberal after all...
“The media would have gotten away with it, if it werent for the internet.
The have gotten away with it my FRiend, as they always do.”
Yes and no. Sure, the media will pay no penalty for this; but, they are already backpedalling on the ‘Palin caused it’ angle. With no internet, we would be subjected to this ‘storyline’ for several weeks. I think they will abandon it completely very soon.
There will always be what I call the ‘rabid 27%’. I base this number on just about any poll you find, ranging from Rasmussen’s daily poll to polls on communism, polls on 9-11 was an inside job, etc. There just always seems to be 27% of the country on the stupid side of every issue. Sure these idiots will buy into this.
But...the big but: The sheeple in the middle are starting to get annoyed that the media really thinks they’re that stupid. Really, you’d have to be a moron to buy into ‘The TEA Party caused it’.....and increasingly, people are insulted that the media thinks they can get away with this. I see it as progress.
The incoherent nature of leftist ideology is largely explainable by its fundamental principle—relativism.
Relativism asserts there is no ultimate truth, allowing leftists to engage in their common practice of asserting a particular argument one day and then refuting it the next. Take it one step further and you have insanity, then chaos and destruction.
I would say Loughner merely followed progressive (liberal) thinking to its ultimate conclusion.
Bump!
Exactly!
Only because he didn't like their brand of socialism. He was a SOCIALIST, first and foremost, who used politics of hatred and class warfare as his tactics to achieve his overall objective of a totally socialistic society. He was not "right" as we conservatives have been defined and how the commie want to set the premise.
I was into reading about all sorts of off the wall things when I was a kid but, it was just curious research. This guy was disturbed and acted out.
