“The image placed a “crosshairs,” such as would be seen through a gun-scope”

No, they are surveyor’s symbols, used to mark a special location.
I guess we have to put all surveyors on the terrorist watch list :P
Today’s idiocy in America is overwhelming.
The USSA is becoming a cesspool of absolute stupidity.

It’s the inherent stupidity relevent to the preoccupation of the masses the Left manipulates with their psycho-warfare since the mid 19th Century. Hopefully one day the masses will wise up to the openly juvenile manipulations, and put a fist in their self annointed “intellectual” faces.

I’ve read that here the last several days and it really is a big cop out. Of course, they were intended to be crosshairs, it is really ludicrous to suggest otherwise. Does it matter that they were crosshairs? Not to me. I see nothing wrong with the map depicting crosshairs indicating the targeted districts. And even an asshat, politically-motivated liberal would never truly believe in his heart that it represented a call to do violence against any individual. But to say that the Palin camp didn’t realize that people would take it as anything but a crosshair is either being naive or blinded by the Gung Ho for our side.
