Yep, surely a photo op. Sees it as a way to promote himself in AZ as the savior. He will no doubt make some speech about everyone trying to unite and come together and work things out. He makes me ill.

Arizona passed a law where folks can be asked for their birth certificates. Is it still in effect?
If they can’t prove they are U.S. citizens, they are sent packing back to their country or stuffed in Jail. What gives here?
If it is in effect, this was what we were all waiting for.
Once he lands in Arizona, ask the cheeking Kenyan bastard for his birth certificate.

The story reported that Obama is following Clintons plan, step by step. If so, he's doing it "stupidly" (if you pardon the word). Only a fool would keep following a "plan" five seconds after it starts to blow up in his face. No "plan" survives after the first shot is fired, I recall the expression.
Clinton knew when it was time to change the plan. He was a General in the political Army. Obama's a buck Private.
