Since Congress members are mobile, this could effectively outlaw all guns, everywhere. Suppose a congressman goes door to door campaigning. Would every homeowner he visits, who has a legal gun in his home be in violation?

All of the 1,000 feet type rules are back door gun bans. If a few more or passed all the 1,000 foot zones will overlap, making virtually the entire nation a “gun free zone” (meaning a zone where only the bad guys have guns and the good guys are defenseless).

We need to primary this RINO in 2012.

Yes, this is how they zone out certain businesses in NYC....1000 feet away from any school, bar, church/synagogue, hospital covers damn near all of the city....

Kind of like the alternative methods they use to criminalize smoking. (but, oh, we’ll make an exception for that one.)
