Jack Straw, the former Home Secretary, provoked controversy when he said that white girls were seen as “easy meat” by some Pakistani men.
Although some public figures condemned his comments as offensive, others said it was right that the matter had been addressed.
Atma Singh, from the Sikh Community Action Network, said: “Well done to Jack Straw for being 100 per cent honest and saying what many people already know – that there are pockets of youngsters in the Pakistani Muslim community who treat girls from other communities as sexual objects.”
Mohammed Shafiq, director of the Muslim youth group the Ramadan Foundation said 53 out of the last 65 convictions for grooming had involved British Pakistanis.
“The reality is that there is an issue,” he said. “There is a perception that these white girls have lesser morals and lesser values than women from Pakistani heritage.
“It’s abhorrent and there needs to be debate.”

The article goes on to specify rapes and sexual assaults. Perhaps the meaning, as used here, is similar to ‘grooming’ in the US. In the US, a pedophile is said to ‘select’ and try to earn the trust of targets in the days or weeks leading up to rape and this premeditated identification and attempts to lure are sometimes called ‘grooming’. I think the goal of the perv is to establish a stable statutory rape situation hence ‘grooming’ is required as opposed to a one time attack.

It’s abhorrent all right and there needs to be arrests, convictions, long prison sentences, and then deportations...
Grooming children is usually a process of preparing a child to be manipulated into being sexually abused by an adult. It involves befriending the targeted child with gifts and outings. A large part of grooming is introducing the kid to porn and sexual conservation and touching. If the kid is into it, perps feed them drugs and booze.
However, in Britain, who knows. I know the men in question are using white girls in Britian as sex slaves and they rape them.
