At this rate, if my son doesn’t get an ROTC scholarship, he won’t stand a chance at attending college in this country.
There are ways for him to attend a college, perhaps not the ones he may have at first wanted. ROTC scholarships come in 2 and 4 year awards iirc. If he doesn’t make the 4 yr, he can always get is general ed credits and some major credits at a community college and pay for them by working part time, that is what my daughters are current doing. Then apply for a 2 yr. There are also other grants and scholarships available. Worst case are loans. Before I got my 2yr ROTC scholarship I was working as many as 4 different part time jobs and full time in the summer. Its do-able, so make sure you look into all the options.
