More looniness from our freinds in the Great White North. There has been significant number of homosexuals in the music/entertainment biz since time immemorial. I don't recall Elton John, the late Dusty Springfeild, even the whiny one Michael Stipe or any of Mark Knoppfler's gay colleagues EVER complain about this song.

The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council
webpage has this case listed and a few others. Four out of the first five cases have to do with GLBT complaints.
Apparently, somewhere, somehow, Canadian citizens have turned over their free speech to "queer review." Unbelievable.
