It was in the middle ages used against the Jewish people. And then the muslims revived it. But, they know what Sarah meant these people who are slamming her are using any excuse and this one is just lame.

I knew what it meant and the Jewish history in some prior uses of the words, but it really isn't all about the Jews here at all.
They libeled her with the blood of the innocent, hence a blood libel. Simple enough except for those seeking a way to libel her again IMO.
