Yes, especially if half your bullets are going to miss the target.
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
That punks knockout punch
Turned into a bust
Yeah, I couldn't help but chuckle at the indignant tone of this article. In Britain, getting robbed and beaten by Yobs with no way to defend yourself has become accepted as just another unfortunate fact of life. Imagine their surprise to see firsthand that in America you can shoot these "Yobs" dead and not be prosecuted. An outrage!
The comments at the UK Daily Mail are choice
One mans yob is another mans yute
“The comments at the UK Daily Mail are choice”
They seem to be mostly Americans, except for the Brit who whishes he had a machine gun.
There are a lot more comments from UK residents....All wishing they could carry a gun
A well placed bullet will deter a thug even better.
Scratch one jackass. Too bad the other punk escaped with his life.
Really? On what grounds?
Baker did the city, state and the country a favor by dispatching the perp, who wasn't a "victim".
Looks like a 6th grade class photo. Watch out for that. I was reading about some criminal that got himself killed in Jacksonville and the on-line paper ran an older photo of the dead thug as a smiling, cherubic 12-year old boy. Someone in the comments section found the dead thug's Myspace where a more recent photo showed him to be a scowling, tattooed gangsta. For some reason, the paper wasn't interested in that photo.
Indeed. The machine gunners motto comes to mind: "Accuracy by volume".
‘Mustelier was hit four times with hollow pointed bullets fired from the .45 calibre weapon.
The 16-year-old told police he fled but remembers seeing Mustelier standing in the road with a red laser dot sight on his chest.
Mr Suarex said that the victim’s family are considering filing a civil lawsuit against Baker.
And while they do not dispute that Baker feared his attacker had a gun they are angry at the number of shots fired.
‘I know that he thought my brother had a gun,’ said Dianela Gonzalez, Mustelier’s sister.
‘But I mean, it was eight shots fired. How do you shoot someone eight times in self-defence? That makes no sense.’
I like the way they call the thug a ‘victim’.
He was not a victim..he was an assailant.
He got what he deserved.

Good luck with that. Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law EXPLICITLY prohibits civil suits filed by the family of dead perps. Once the mugger threw his punch, his life was bought and paid for.
I was told that, “Anyone worth shooting once is worth shooting multiple times.”
When in doubt empty the magazine.

That was one of the first things my conceal carry instructor told us.
“if ever have to use your weapon, empty the clip. be absolutely sure the gremlin doesn’t get up.”

Hey, Carlos, the next time you decide to rob someone go pick an unarmed....oh, wait. Nevermind. Good riddance.
Under the Florida Stand Your Ground law they cannot sue; you are shielded from civil as well as criminal attack.
