The shooter is insane and used a gun. Therefore anyone who uses a gun is insane. Arizona is trying to get the border under control. That makes all of the state racists. A congress person is shot and that makes all government lawmakers targets. Sarah Palin is a powerful voice against government abuse and is tagged as the catalyst for the insane gunman from a racist state to go postal. So the answer is to disarm everyone and silence any dissent. That ought to fix it for the ruling class.
These people are so idealogically driven, they couldn’t put together a logical argument if their life depended on it.
Maybe Tom would feel much more comfy on a Saturday night at a Popeye’s Chicken on Chicago’s Souf Side. After all, Chi-town has some of the most restrictive gun laws around.
Folks from the Provence of Manhattan are nervous anytime they cross the rivers into the wilds, much less all the way out to the desert wastes of Arizona.

Well Tom your conscience must be bothering you. As for me I would be nervous stepping foot in NYC.
I’m a musician, so, yes, I get paid to go into bars. It’s the only time I set foot inside such a place. Once in a while I’ll go to a restaurant that has a bar. But I stay out of bars. I was taught a long time ago that bars are for losers. They seem sort of like casinos to me. A place for suckers to be separated from their money.
All they have to do is put Loughner on the STAND TO TESTIFY.
I doubt his attorneys will be dumb enough to allow that, but there is the chance it will happen. If it does, it is over. It will be obvious.
I think Loughner suffered serious brain damage from the Alcohol poisoning incident and has displayed obvious signs of it ever since the incident.

He tried to drink himself to death with a bottle of Vodka he stole from his (step)father's liquor cabinet.
Also remember the incident where he RAN AWAY FROM HOME? And his father went and brought him back? How old was he?
I think the parents KNEW that he changed RADICALLY after the alcohol poisoning incident, and thought they could keep it 'in the family'.
They were wrong.
