We have enormous amounts of every resource that the EPA won’t allow us to develop. Coal generation costs around 2 cents per kilowatt while NG costs around 10 cents. Which is the better producer?

That is one way to look at it. The other way is this, burn up the rest of the world’s energy first and then be one of the last nations on earth sitting on significant supplies of fossil fuels. The rest of the world can heat their homes with all their US dollars then.
