The following is from Paul LePage's campaign website:

While Paul is Governor, he will protect life in Maine. Paul believes that every life deserves an opportunity to grow, contribute to society, and leave their mark on the world.

Since he's pro-life, perhaps the Maine governor doesn't want to participate in honoring MLK, a "winner" of the Margaret Sanger Award for baby killing.

Along with a mountain of other facts, this item destroys the sometimes floated fallacy that Martin Luther King was a Conservative. Sure, he may have pulled the 'R' lever on occasion (for a few RINOs) but King was a Marxist as was W.E.B. DuBois, an early leader in the NAACP.
