By Doug Palmer WASHINGTON, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Chinese President Hu Jintao will bring new business deals and possible commitments to buy U.S. beef and software when he visits Washington next week, a U.S. business group said on Friday.

"He will come with gifts," Myron Brilliant, senior vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, told reporters ahead of the formal state visit. "There are many companies that will be signing contracts."

LOL. Santa Clause can come in many different forms. Never imagined him in the form of Chinese communist boss.

This is probably one of the reasons Gates kept pushing 6-party talks on S. Korea. Got to get those Christmas gifts from Santa Hu.:-) I kind of suspected that this would be the case anyway.

I have always said that when the Chinese invade, they won't be carrying AK-47s, they'll be carrying briefcases. Well, it's looking like I was right. I see they are coming to purchase Major Toledo Landmarks that will include a port which gives them access to lake Erie.

Mayor Mike Bell's administration could be ready to ink a massive land deal with Chinese investors involving three riverfront properties: The Docks restaurant and entertainment complex, the long-envisioned Marina District, and perhaps the downtown Imagination Station science center, individuals familiar with the negotiations said on Friday.

Establish civilian beachhead and use it as a tripwire to intervene militarily later. Age-old MO.

Thousands of years of existence have given the Chinese their perspective on fighting wars. For them, the highest priority of warfare is to defeat their enemy’s will to fight. Openly attacking his fortified cities and armies is the least desirable way to fight. In America, we think just the opposite. I once saw a plaque in an infantry battalion’s HQ that stated simply: “attack the enemy, not his plans.” This doctrine doesn’t work with China but their doctrine works with us.

"Chinese President Hu Jintao will bring new business deals and possible commitments to buy U.S. beef and software..."

So beef prices will go up in the USA, while the PLA receives the last of the source code from anti-American, globalist software moguls.
