This is such a joke. Anyone who has ever been inside the brig at Quantico is laughing uncontrollably right now. It's spotless, unlike virtually ever other civilian prison in the country, and in the world. There's no commotion and there's absolutely no confinee on confinee violence. The Marines know how to run a prison.
I've got an idea, it might be time for a prison-appreciation tour for young Pvt. Manning. I suggest sending him to Lompoc - not even a high security prison - for a few weeks, and then ask him if he wants to stay there or return to Quantico.

It also helps that the inmates are Marines;)

I read an article on Quantico years ago. They will put a troublesome
inmate on bread and water for up to two weeks at a time.
And yet, in civilian prisons, the lawyers whine when their troublesome,
incarcerated client gets put on prison loaf for a week.
