Which is to say, there actually is some evidence.
On the left-wing Democracy Now radio show Friday, Fuller, a survivor of the Tucson shooting, said the following:
It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilledsenseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even nine-year-old girls.
Loughner is a man under the influence of leftist ideology.
Leftist thinking is by nature incoherent, a condition resulting from the chaos of relativism.
Relativism, the bedrock of progressive ideology, asserts there is no ultimate truth, allowing leftists to engage in their common practice of asserting one thing today and then completely contradicting themselves tomorrow. (Like schizophrenics do.) Take it one step further and you have insanity, then chaos and destruction.
Progressivism is founded on the absurd belief that certain people can be given the power to give and to take away the rights of other people. This principle confirms to the sociopath that he is morally free to kill other people as he chooses.
Progressivism teaches that human life has no intrinsic value, and through liberal sentencing of convicted criminals, it teaches that committing horrible crimes such as killing other people will likely bring minimal consequences. Liberalism encourages the sociopath to kill.
There you have it. Loughner merely followed progressive ideology to its ultimate conclusion.
Mr. Fuller was also involved in a confrontation on Jan. 8, shortly before the attack on Ms. Giffords, which occurred at an event she held for her constituents outside a Safeway supermarket. He said in a long interview last week with The New York Times that he had argued there with a man he described as a former Marine after a heated discussion over politics. Gabriel Zimmerman, an aide to Ms. Giffords, separated the two.
Mr. Zimmerman was killed in the attack later that
My comment from an earlier thread;
Non-deep pocket with a lot of heart. Began life as a computer operator, military service leading to non-physical disability, unable to resume career, left main stream and lived in small towns for a decade studying library books and piano, moved into Tucson in 1994 and worked as a Chauffeur for most of 10 years, presented state-wide initiatives at libraries, worked elections, in 09 worked at the Census Bureau as a field rep and a clerk.
Non-physical disability? Nutbag?

It is a little difficult to envision Mr. Loughner talking to his buds on the phone at 11:59 saying “excuse me Melvin, got to go, rush is on in a min. and I need to get some dogs on the grill before the show begins”.
Or:
One of Mr. Louhner’s forever friends: “Dude, wanna go out to pops and get a pepsi, my treat?”
Mr. Loughner: “No can do, Sara is releasing a new tweet at 8:00 PM and you know I never miss any of her messages!”
“Theres more evidence liberal media influenced Eric Fuller than there is Palin influenced Loughner”
We have to be careful about making such arguments - i.e. that liberal or any other type of media influences killers, and that therefore it is equally responsible. Doing so would be falling into the statist’s trap.
The left is after restricting speech, period. And they will use whatever argument they can concoct to do so - including blaming their own media. For, once they get the law passed, they’ll use it to shut down the opposition.
The argument we need to make is the one that Palin made, i.e. only the perpetrator is responsible for his crime, not what he might have seen or heard. This is consistent with the arguments that guns don’t kill people, people kill people and those are the ones that need to be held responsible.
1. “Whose ass to kick”
2. “Bring a gun to a knife fight”
3. “Argue with neighbors, get in their face”
4. “I don’t want to quell anger I’m angry”
5. “Get out of the way”
6. “Gearing up for a fight”
7. “Hit back twice as hard”
8. “The police acted stupidly”
9. “They drove the car into the ditch and they want the keys back? NO!”
10. “My grandmother acted like a typical white person”
You’re quite right, only the perp is responsible.
But I happen to be interested in the the ideas and the thinking that leads to his motives. I don’t comment on it for political strategizing, but in pursuit of the truth.
