There are real differences of beliefs and philosophy. Should we have a touchy-feely embrace with DU? It sounds ridiculous.

But then our congresscritters rush to embrace the fad of the month. Let’s hope they think better of it.

We do not want to work together, we want to defeat them. If they want to compromise their commie beliefs fine, we do not compromise our freedom.

They don’t want the public to be able to tell that the Democrats are standing and the Republicans are not when they fawn over the phrases of there great one. Although this is a constitutional requirement it is in reality a fever of egomania. Watch all the sucking up when the great one struts is like an emperor and the pandering applause, and the bravo sierra gets knee deep.

Not only is this a visual cover for the losses of the Democrats in the last election, I think the Democrats hope they can shame the Republicans into standing up and clapping for everything Obama says. It will give the TV elite some pictures of the stodgy Republicans sitting while all around them people are applauding the President.
