The FCC, like the National Fire Protection Agency, should be a group of private citizens from that industry who craft the regulations needed for broadcasts. States could choose to adopt their guidance or not. Same for OSHA, the EPA, etc etc.
They are a waste of hard earned Tax Money. Totally not needed at this point.
'Cause you never know when the Government might need to toss the first amendment in the trash can?
