Simple solution. If you live in Virginia, shoot the intruder who breaks into your house.
Before the police arrive, place a “throw down” gun in the right hand of the dead intruder.
“Too much extra work now.”
Kill one, and make his accomplice dig two graves....Sure it takes a little supervision, but it beats digging.

Yeah...but then you got to go to the trouble of planting a throwdown (after having wildly fired in the DPs hands)....just too damned much trouble...not to mention the expense of the throwdown...
