Frist: Don't repeal health care bill (Put a lid on it has-been RINOs)

A top Republican has come out against efforts by his party to repeal President Obama's health care reform bill currently underway in the House.

Former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tennessee, said at a press conference Tuesday at the Bipartisan Policy Center - an organization he chairs with former Democratic Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, among others - that the law should stand, according to The Huffington Post.

"It is not the bill that [Republicans] would have written," he said. "It is not the bill that I would have drafted. But it is the law of the land and it is the platform, the fundamental platform, upon which all future efforts to make that system better, for that patient, for that family, will be based."

He added: "[The bill] has many strong elements," Frist added later. "And those elements, whatever happens, need to be preserved, need to be cuddled, need to be snuggled, need to be promoted and need to be implemented. But how do you do it? How do you do a lot of what is in this law?"

Wow, how embarrassing! I know Frist did a Fellowship in Britain but thought he was aware of the folly of trying to implement their style of Healthcare here. So sad.

A top Republican

Top? NOT! Notice how the next paragraph refers to him as FORMER majority leader. Nice bias there, CNN.

Hey Bill: have yourself a GIANT cup of STFU.

Seriously, folks, if this jackball wants to keep it the law of the land then HE should run for Senate again and vote that way.

What the hell happens to Republican old men—except for Cheney, they all seem to act like their testicles have been snipped off.

This reccomendation should serve to put America on notice. There is no difference in politicians they run as a member of the Party that has more control at the time and place. Tom Daschle is as big a crook as comes in my opinion and now
Bill Frist has sold his soul. Government is a sham on the people.

He must be the only physician in the country who thinks this way. Probably because he’s retired on a cushy federal pension and benefits package that he didn’t contribute a dime towards.

CNN is working overtime to find opponents to Repeal.

Finding someone with an (R) behind their name to oppose it probably rates triple-time pay.

What a POS a doctor no less

It’s not “The law of the land” dipstick. That’s something called The Constitution, ever heard of it? I guess not if you want this crap legislation to stand.

WE have seen the enemy . and it is us. Just unreal.

The mentality of a GOP leader. This is why I have little hope for the GOP. I pray the Tea Party Republicans can lead the GOP but I think they will always be sabotaged by the elite blue-blood New World Order crowd.

Any Republican that advocates keeing Obamacare in ANY form should be thrown out on his rear and fast.

Frist in 3/10:
“From a strictly political standpoint, Republicans played it pretty well,” he said, adding that they will probably campaign on a repeal of reform in 2010.”

Must have got a great deal.

Didn’t Bill Frist inherit HCA (a health care insurance company) from his father? If so, no wonder he wants to see 0bamacare remain in place.

The Dems are picking us off for media fodder, a full court press with the kitchen sink media assault. Republicans can’t balance a beer on their belly let alone handle an Obama front with all battalions coming at them on every issue at once, while we dithered off a week and agreed to hold hands with marxists at the SOU address. What a colorful start. Hang on.

Reason number 347 why I will not return to the once great USA.
I spent all of my first 55 years in Tennessee, which I considered to be the best state in the union, despite it being Al Goreon’s home state.

Now it has two filthy RINOS for senators, in other words, stealth Marxist.
America is doomed.
