... The Big Lie in "Immigration impasse ahead" -- to which every other erroneous and unsupported assertion is subordinate -- is the allegation that state legislators who support Arizona's SB1070 or wish to see the passage of a similar law in their own states have the same nefarious and's editors, "The assumption underlying such legislation is that the 11 million illegal immigrants in this country, including the 7 million who hold jobs, can and should be deported en masse." This Big Lie constitutes a central article of belief in the open-borders, pro-amnesty camp. It is repeated without the introduction of any empirical evidence by spokespersons for the organizations that form the pro-open border coalition and in the media that supports it, in the print media that is principally the Washington Post and the New York Times. ...

Cut off the jobs and social benefits and most will self-deport. We don’t need to round them up.

It's not 11 million illegal scumbag aliens...they've been saying 12 million since the Bush Sr. days. It's probably more like 30 million. And yes, I'd like to see them rounded up and mass deported.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

Mass deportation is not necessary.

Do that and illegal aliens will deport themselves at their own expense.

Secure the border. Enforce the law. Let the chips fall.

And the problem will resolve itself over a very few years. Its really not that complicated.

Its not a big lie.

Throw those here illegally out. If we need them for our labor they can come back with proper documentation.

As Hurricane Rita approached, an estimated 3.7 million people evacuated the Houston area and Texas coast between Corpus Christi and Beaumont.

It wasn’t that many years ago, before Liberal Progressives began corrupting our nation’s values, that American citizens and homecoming soldiers had first priority, as they should have, because they were Americans. Usurpers and illegal invaders had NO rights because they WERE’NT Americans. It was that simple.

We also had a President with a pair, who didn’t quibble or back off what had to be done for the good of the country and its people.

Dwight D. Eisenhower saw what the problem was, what had to be done about it and did it. He wasn’t afraid of offending all the ranchers that had an interest in the cheap labor. He had America’s interests at heart. How did we get to this place in history when Americans can expect nothing but to fork over our hard earned dollars to benefit foreign nationals.

Serious enforcement leads to self-deportation. Just look back at the major outflux of illegals from AZ after they passed the new get tough measures. Unfortunately, they have been relocating to “sanctuary cities” like Obama’s Chicago, where they are relatively safe from law enforcement.

the best gift we could mexico would be the return of their middle class. what we’re doing right now is returning mostly criminals who are making Mexico boil over in blood. return Mexico’s middle class and that country would have
a revolution that would do it some good.

Right. Our tolerance of mass population transfer from Mexico is a release valve which prevents the social pressures in that country from building to the point that its corrupt ruling class would be overthrown.

Mexicans have the too-easy option of simply leaving their country, as opposed to staying in it and improving it.

Mass immigration from Mexico is thus not just welfare for the immmigrants who come to the U.S., but also for Mexico's rulers -- the population shift northward, as well as the resulting remittances which flow in from the U.S., ensure that their grip on power will remain tight.

The very few that we're returning aren't sufficient in number to cause the level of crime and violence that you're seeing there.
