I doubt you could have plastic figurines made in the USA even if you wanted to. We have chased so much industry out of the USA with over-taxation, over-regulations, tort law, etc... I imagine there are entire industries now where products MUST be imported from overseas.

Sad but true.

I’d be willing to pay a little extra for things made in the USA.

Unfortunately, it’s next to impossible to find anything made here anymore.

In MA, a solar panel factory just closed. Evergreen Energy.

One of the reasons was that neighbors around the old air base complained of noise. There were other hurdles of enviro regs but the place opened with much fanfare a couple of years ago.

Evergreen’s staying in business, but importing panels from China.

And this was with the support of the state, the governor, tax breaks and whatnot.
