I read the headline, glanced at the article, saw nothing but ad hominem, and stopped reading.
The Left really has nothing in the way of rational arguments.
What part of being 14 trillion in debt do they not understand?
“The healthcare reform law, while imperfect, is a done deal. The prudent thing to do at this point is to build on it rather than waste time with fruitless and needlessly divisive political grandstanding.”
Imperfect? The new euphemism for UnConstitutional, I guess.
Done deal? Hardly; and only in the minds of the leftists.
Build on it? And abet the criminal socialists in their mad march to marxism and the destruction of this grand experiment? I don’t think so.
Divisive grandstanding? The new euphemism for standing up for Constitutional principles, it seems.
These gasbags need to be retired from public disservice.
David Lazarus, Liberty is not childish you jackwagon.
Keep the truth out there!
Lazarus (who has yet to be raised from the dead) would chide the colonists’ “childish opposition” to King George III.
Exactly. The Left makes it their job to define their opposition in fringe terms and if that doesn't shut them up they move on to character assassination.
Childish is demanding that others pay for your needs.
Childish is desiring to use the threat of deadly force to make them do so.
Childish is demanding that others do what you think is “right”, as in paying for the medical care/insurance of those you deem “needy”, without doing so yourself, voluntarily, first.
Deliberate provocation, that.
Someone once said, "Elections have consequences."
And this is why they must use the power of the state to make sure the opposition's rational arguments are not heard.
childish nazis!
childish racist uncivil nazis
Take your govt pain pills and die like good citizens
Case in point: Few outside of the blogosphere can tell you what the Tea Party movement is actually for. Most just think it's Sarah Palin's personal political party. The vast majority would agree with its basic ideals (that the federal government should have less control and authority in our lives, and should not take as much form us in taxes). However, since the Right simply isn't doing much to get out that message, the Tea Party is instead mislabeled, smeared with homosexual epithets, and is left in virtual anonymity.
The cockroaches at the putrid LA Times are looking for a place to hide.
Perhaps a kind Tea Party member can drop off a garbage can with a lid at the front door.
An adult wrote this? The boy must be clueless.
You’re so “mean spirited.”
LOL
We really need to make a list of all the words and phrases the left uses to label, demean and diminish their opposition ie enemies and let them roll off our backs.
We need to loudly gawfaw and bat these terms of “endearment” away as they get shriller. We need to get comfortable with getting slammed and not instinctively revert to being politically correct. We have to toughen up and put up our dukes without hesitation.
Were it democrats fighting the Repubs on a similarly controversial issue, the LA Slimes would term it “courageous.”
But because the GOPers in the House are actually doing the will of the PEOPLE... it’s “childish.”
LA Slimes, isn’t Friday your day to be trumpeting reconquista? Go do that instead.
I wonder if this Punk-Ass Liberal B***h had the same attitude about funding for military operations in Iraq. Everyone knew that Bush would veto anything like that from the Democriminals— but that didn’t stop Pelousy.
They didn't because they had the maturity to accept the new status quo and move on. Today's Republicans should take a lesson from them.
HUGE difference.
0bamaCare transfers rights and authority to the federal government, away from the medical community and the patient. Therein lies the difference between then and now.
