Why is anyone in “let it all hang out” Berkeley surprised by this? Much less appalled? It is a town whose inhabitants don’t believe in limits, or constraining anyone’s personal choice of behavior. How is a teacher to know where a line is drawn, IF it is drawn?

Good question. We have more “conservatives” than one would think who will defend their government education welfare entitlement to their dying breath. Of course, as they will tell you, their schools are “different”. The check is in the mail, too....

This teacher will be back in the system at another school next fall. The cover up of abuse in public schools is something that needs to be brought to light.
Parents at the new school won't be told, no child will recieve any money from the district for therapy, and the authorities won't be notified.

Unbelievable!!!! There should be so much outrage over this
but will probably barely generate a whimper from the community. The teacher is probably a homo, only a depraved mine would do such a thing. There is no way a little second grader would be capable of doing this without instruction.
