The increase in the number of Border Patrol is a smokescreen. What I can’t understand is the media unwillingness to investigate the placement of BP agents on the southern border, the number of vehicles per BP agent, the number of BP agents actually patrolling within five miles of the border, the number of BP agents arrested for criminal activities, the amount of PR and PC effort demanded of agents. The BP is, at least in the lengthy area with which I am quite familiar, is a scandal.
The border fiasco is a scandal; the Homeland Insecurity is a scandal, the entire damned government is a scandal and the United States of America is bankrupt!
