Giuliani 'absolutely' open to 2012 presidential run

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) said he is "absolutely" open to a run for president in 2012.

Giuliani, the mayor of New York during the 9/11 terrorist attacks who ran for president in 2008, hinted more strongly that he might seek the Republican nomination to challenge President Obama's reelection.

"I will take a look at 2012. It's really a question of, can I play a useful role? Would I have a chance of getting the nomination? Those are things that I'll have to evaluate as the year goes along," Giuliani said Thursday night on CNBC's "The Kudlow Report."

There will be no shortage of "RINO" Establishment-backed Candidates in 2012. The shotgun approach will include Gingrich, Romney, Huckleberry, etc. (They have been promoted continuously by the State Run Media for the past two years, while they bash Palin).

Palin is the ONLY potential GOP Nominee that is feared, and phoney polls, constant bashing, and the shit-their-pants fears of the Left are not going to change the FACT that she is the one to beat.

Why? The other liberal Republican candidates don’t have enough mob ties?

No Rudy. You should be thinking:
2012 is the voters first opportunity to get rid of the Socialist and I will do all I can to help. I want to do what is best for America - whatever the personal cost, win or lose.

Rudy really should run in 2012. He has a good chance of getting the nomination. He just should run as a Democrat.

He would be a great addition to the primary. We need more people to split up the Mitt vote.

Say what we will about Rudy who we all have little use for, as a campaigner, he was not a divider. He campaigned for the Party in general over many appearances as he tried to advance himself in last run and did so with vigor for a number of candidates far more conservative than himself. I don’t like his politics, but I certainly respect him more than Mitt.

After breaking up the Mitt vote, I hope he looses with grace and makes a million more in his consulting business and buys a house next to Hillary.

It is not a good start going on that bloviating blowhard Larry Kudlows show. He called Obama a “supply side conservative” on one of his recent shows. Claims Obama has “seen the light”. Can’t stand Kudlow and Steven Moore who looks demented.

It's really a question of, can I play a useful role?

Rudy: you missed your chance to play a useful role - one of the 2 US Senate seats from NY that were both in play this year.

If Rudy and Pataki had tag-teamed Gillebrand (sp?)and Schumer, they could very well have beaten them, and we'd have 2 new GOP senators from the Northeast.

Eh, if Sarah Palin can be a top tier candidate for President then America's Mayor can put on a dress and do it again.

You guys have it all wrong. We need Giuliani in there, fighting hard and early in NH. Huntsman too. We need all the ‘moderates’ we can get in the pool to dilute Romney’s vote.

What we’ve got to hope is that Palin’s vote doesn’t get split among too many who are perceived as more conservative: Cain and Gingrich and Barbour, for example.

Rudy is right, you’ve got to win early, but winning early has to do with not having too many similarly perceived opponents drawing from your natural base.

Come on in, Rudy! I hope you spend a good, long time in NH, shaking hands with as many voters as you can.
