For months, the family values wing of the Republican Party has been protesting the inclusion of GOProud, a right-wing gay group, at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). You won't hear any protesting, however, from conservative media mogul Andrew Breitbart.
"We're going to have a big ol' gay party," he said on a radio show Wednesday. Breitbart says gays deserve a place within the Republican Party and he's been "offended" by efforts to exclude them. Therefore, he's throwing an 80's-themed gay party to welcome them on board.
If this sounds like uncharacteristic behavior for Breitbart, his additional remarks should clear things up:
I am not endorsing gay marriage, I'm not endorsing Don't Ask, Don't Tell. I will be the harshest critic of the activist gay left, who I fear more than al-Qaida. But for these people not to exist in a two-party system, for you to tell them they're not welcome in the big tent, I have a huge problem with that and I'm going to indulge in my all '80s Depeche Mode, Cure, New Order fetish and we're going to have a big 'ol gay party at CPAC.Al-Qaida—really? Any support for this pervert by Fox, Hannity, etc... and they can all be on my mute button for good.
This sick pervert needs to be shunned by conservatives regardless of any investigative work that he does.
I know he has been featured on conservative media programs before as an ally but it is all an effort to undermine conservative principles.

Sure...all they have to do is stop being homosexual, and denounce that particular immoral, vile, disgusting, disease-spreading lifestyle, and they can be conservative. Provided, of course, they're also pro-2nd Amendment, pro-military, pro-secure borders, pro-life, pro-business, pro-limited government, etc.

GOProud is a false flag operation. They are around to do nothing but sow dissension in Conservative ranks. How many members does GOProud have? Breitbart is getting rolled over nothing.
Nobody said they couldn’t be in the party. We don’t want them running the place or setting the agenda. Just like, I don’t want to kick them out of church. They are welcome to have a seat. But the moment they get up into the pulpit and start defining the theology I’m out of there.

Don't know but it wouldn't surprise me if he is gay. I've always had the impression that he is.
The same flawed argument he uses to justify his support of homosexual sex; e.g. no political discrimination of homosexual sex is legitimate; is the same argument that the progressives he now lends his name to use to promote "homosexual marriage".
Breitbart is lost. I hope he eventually gets a clue.
