I’ve seen lots of videos of the wrecks in the NY area from people trying to drive on this crap. To that, I say “stop criticizing southerners now.” That’s the kind of winters we get ... when we get ‘em. Ice is not an easy thing to drive on.
Aw. Hells Bells. You Southeners don’t know what cold is. I’m eight miles from the Atlantic Ocean in NJ here and it’s been in the ‘teens for days with a blizzard on the way next Tuesday. Going down to the single digits tonight. Gotta keep the water running or the pipes freeze and it’s only January. This is nothing.
The fact that no one can drive on ice doesn’t excuse southerners from being ill-equipped for driving on snow.
Sure it is. I see it on car commercials all the time--60 MPH on a winding, ice-covered mountain road, with steep precipices on all sides. And half the jackasses who watch the damned commercial think they can do it too.
